Wire mesh demister material types, models and uses

The operating gas velocity of the wire mesh demister is the speed at which the gas passes through the wire mesh. The operating gas velocity should be selected appropriately. If the operating gas velocity is too low, the inertia of the mist in the gas is too small and the mist is in a floating state. When passing through the wire mesh layer, the mist floats in the wire mesh and cannot be completely removed; if the operating gas velocity is too high, the accumulated droplets are not easy to fall from the wire mesh, and the liquid fills the wire mesh, causing the collected droplets to splash again and be entrained by the gas, causing liquid flooding, thereby reducing the defoaming efficiency.
The wire mesh demister is very efficient. For mist particles with a diameter of more than 5um, the capture efficiency is 98%~99.99%, while the pressure drop of the gas passing through the demister is very small (250~500Pa), which is unmatched by various other gas-liquid separation devices.
