In actual use, some users also use "mesh" to indicate the filtration accuracy, but this expression is more commonly used on screens. As the name implies, the concept of mesh is holes, which refers to the number of mesh holes in 1 square inch. The mesh number can also be used to indicate the coarseness of the material. For example, a material with 200 mesh means that the material can pass through a screen with 200 mesh holes in 1 square inch.
