253MA stainless steel wire mesh type 253MA (S30815) nickel-saving heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel wire woven mesh/woven mesh/screen/round hole screen.

C≤0.09 N ≤0.17 Cr ≤21 Ni ≤11 Mo≤ 4.1

Product characteristics: 253MA is a heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel designed for applications requiring high creep strength and good corrosion resistance. Its operating temperature range is 850~1100 ℃.
1. Compared with 310S and 1Cr20Ni14Si2, it has better performance, saves Ni and is cheap.
2. It has high strength at 900 ℃. In air, it can be used up to 1150 ℃ under non-pressure conditions and has excellent high temperature oxidation resistance.
3. The short-term tensile strength at each temperature is more than 20% higher than that of ordinary stainless steel (such as 304, 310S).
4. It has high temperature and long-term performance (creep performance, durability).

253MA use: In addition to the alloying elements chromium and nickel, this grade of stainless steel also contains a small amount of rare earth metals (REM), which significantly improves its oxidation resistance. Nitrogen is added to improve creep properties and make this steel completely austenitic. Although the chromium and nickel content is relatively low, this stainless steel has the same high-temperature properties as highly alloyed alloy steels and nickel-based alloys in many cases.

After the passivation film is destroyed, the corrosion resistance decreases. The total chemical element content of 254SMO stainless steel is Cr: 19.5~20.5, and the content of this element lays a good foundation for the corrosion resistance of 254SMO stainless steel.
